Outwit, Outplay, Outlast: A Mixed Media Exploration of Survivor (Classwork)

Photo Collage: A layered composition of fire, skulls, tropical landscapes, tools, fish, and watchful eyes establishes the conceptual foundation of this series. This imagery symbolizes Survivor’s themes of endurance, ritual, strategy, and constant surveillance by tribe members, producers, and audience alike.

Pencil Line Drawing: A strategic still life featuring a compass and map decodes the show’s competitive structure into symbols of navigation, decision-making, and calculated gameplay.

Watercolor Painting: Fluid washes and atmospheric blending bring about the emotional tension, alliance-building, and ritualistic intensity that define life at camp and tribal council.

Acrylic Painting: Bold color, layered texture, and deliberate composition synthesize the series’ themes into this dramatic final image that reflects the heightened spectacle and branding of the show.

Reimagining Little Red (Classwork)

This classwork series reinterprets Little Red Riding Hood through a focus on color, symbolic objects, and expressive subjects. In each painting, I isolated moments from the narrative, using heightened color and composition to convey emotional tone instead of literal storytelling. I brought in familiar elements and recontextualized them to suggest tension, curiosity, and a sense of unease. Together, I wanted the work to explore how visual language can transform a well-known story into an atmospheric, emotionally driven experience.
Medium: Acrylic on canvas

Digital Collage Exploration

Created a series of digital collages exploring color, layering, and visual storytelling. These pieces reflect an interest in creating engaging, theme-driven visuals, with applications for regional and event-based campaigns such as fairs and exhibits.
